"Our reputation is built upon relaxed yet attentive and friendly service, great food, freshly cooked, and a fabulous array of wine and beer. Our menu changes every five weeks and always embraces seasonality and local produce. There is also a fish specials board which changes daily. Sunday lunch is an important part of The Crown's week - we serve food from noon until 9pm, with the menu including two roasts (until they run out!). Our outside terrace is a truly wonderful place to sit on a sunny day. Guests are asked to order at the Bar, although if they would prefer to eat inside they will receive full table service."
Milsoms Restauraunt, Dedham (9 miles)
Stacks Image 145
"At milsoms, guests enjoy 'global' cuisine, with our chefs taking influences from all over the world, as well as daily specials that take full advantage of the local, seasonal produce available throughout the year. Guests can dine inside in the two-tiered restaurant or outside on the terrace. Covered with a gigantic 'sail' with super efficient heaters, the terrace is very much an extension to the dining area. With the added dimension of the stunning gardens, outside dining at milsoms is a reality for most of the year. A full à la carte menu is available from 12 noon everyday right through to 9.30 pm (10.00pm on Friday and Saturday evenings). And, of course, the younger members of the team aren't left out at milsoms - a specially designed kids menu is available all day as well."

"Regis’ philosophy about food: ‘Colour, balance and contrast. Honest flavours that truly express the ingredients. Simple, traditional cooking with a modern approach. Food does not need to be and expression of fashion but, rather, a tasteful and unpretentious expression of flavours, characterised by the availability of seasonal ingredients’. One of the best restaurants in the East of England, The Great House offers an exquisite dining experience, deep in the atmospheric Suffolk countryside. Our General Manager Thierry Pennec and Executive Chef, Enrique Bilbault will ensure that all guests fully enjoy their experience."
