Book into Sherbourne Lodge Cottages for your bespoke health and wellbeing retreat, aimed to promote balance in your body mind and diet. Take time out to absorb the beautiful Suffolk countryside , reside in our cosy barn conversions and treat your body to a weekend of healthy living!

Your retreat involves:

Arrival at 4.00 pm on the Friday; enjoying a sunset walk along the valley, taking a break to hopefully catch a glimmer into the secret life of the badger in our woodlands.

Wake early on Saturday morning for a 90 minute Yoga class taken by Sophia Howard. Sophia's style of teaching is subtle, strong and graceful, allowing the subtle awareness of breath and body to guide our practice. Her sessions draw inspiration from ancient yoga principles and include Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breath work) and meditation/relaxation in every session.

Yoga offers us a holistic approach to body, mind and spirit which can provide us with the ‘tools’ to cope with the challenges of daily life. All classes are tailored to the individual needs of the students, so that beginners feel safe to explore and the more experienced students have the opportunity to discover new depths to their practice.
Next is a healthy nutritious breakfast which starts the following theme of diet and nutrition. Having already completed and returned a food diary on confirmation of booking, Anna will meet with you for your 1:1 nutritional assessment & group education.

Anna Groom is a Specialist Registered Dietitian with a wealth of experience of improving nutritional intake to meet requirements and goals. Anna adopts a coaching style to support you to identify your own goals and find practical sustainable solutions. Anna’s nutrition sessions include evidence based research regarding appropriate dietary values, dispelling common myths and beliefs about diet.

The afternoon sessions are run by Personal Trainer Annie Nunn. 'Exercise for Daily Living' or EDL class. This 60 minute class, is designed to make you feel totally energised post session! It's an all rounder which will help develop joint mobility, muscular tone and general stamina. It's a perfect class for individuals with any general fitness and weight loss goals. This is all created through a fun and relaxed approach!

Enjoy an evening at your leisure before you start again on Sunday morning!

Check out is by 4.00 pm Sunday by which point you will hopefully be feeling energised and ready for the week ahead!
Prices are based on 4 people sharing one cottage on a bed and breakfast basis £170pp inc VAT. Additional beauty therapy treatments may be available as additions to this package, however must be booked prior to arrival.
